The WOW Brand Festive Day 2018 is an annual one-day event that brings together 500-700 brand managers and brand professionals across hundreds of industry categories. It combines a series of inspiring talks and a celebration of brand achievements in the preceding year.

In 2018, we will explore the intersection between customer experience and technology with regards to branding. Some of the themes that we will explore are Augmented and Virtual Reality, Content Marketing and Creative Media, as well as Music and Branding.

The awarding night will crown the best brands in Indonesia dubbed the Marketeers WOW Brand 300 as well the best branding and endorsement campaigns in the preceding year.



In January 2018, MarkPlus Insight conducted face-to-face interviews to 5,800 respondents in five major cities in Indonesia (Jabodetabek, Bandung, Surabaya, Medan, and Makassar). Thousands of brand across 97 industry categories were spontaneously recalled by the respondents. MarkPlus Insight ranked these brands based on Brand Advocacy Ratio (BAR) and selected the best brands in each category. The best brands form the Marketeers WOW Brand 300, an annual list released by Marketeers magazine in March.

In the research, the respondents were asked about their recent interactions with the brands across the 5A’s customer path: Aware, Appeal, Ask, Act, and Advocate. The methodology is based on a bestselling book: Marketing 4.0: Moving from Traditional to Digital by Philip Kotler, Hermawan Kartajaya (Chairman, MarkPlus, Inc.), and Iwan Setiawan (COO, MarkPlus, Inc.).
